Dr. Maggie Parker was named President-Elect of the Virginia Association of Play Therapy, and her term starts in March 2020. In addition, Dr. Parker presented a session titled, "Play Therapy: What is it, how does it work, and how can I use it?" with a colleague from UNC Charlotte at the Creating Trauma Sensitive Schools Conference in Atlanta, GA.
