Dr. Carol Stapp has served in a variety of roles including: Editorial board, Curator; editor-in-chief, Journal of Museum Education. Convener, AAM Colloquium on Museum Learning. Smithsonian National Postal Museum Advisory Council; AAM Committee on Education Executive Board; principal investigator, "Cultural Connections" (U.S. Department of Education).

While a faculty member at GSEHD, she taught several courses including Museum Studies, Internship and Seminar in Museum Education, Museum Evaluation, and Interpretation in the Historic House Museum.

Dr. Stapp earned her Ph.D. at the George Washington University, a M.A. at University of Pennsylvania, and a B.A. from Newcomb College, Tulane University.
