Dr. Carol Stapp has served in a variety of roles including: Editorial board, Curator; editor-in-chief, Journal of Museum Education. Convener, AAM Colloquium on Museum Learning. Smithsonian National Postal Museum Advisory Council; AAM Committee on Education Executive Board; principal investigator, "Cultural Connections" (U.S. Department of Education).

She teaches several courses including: Museum Studies, Internship & Seminar in Museum Education, Museum Evaluation, and Interpretation in the Historic House Museum.

In the News

Lotte Lent, Museum Education Program Assistant Director, and Dr. Carol Stapp presented the poster "Making Thinking Visible after DEAI Training" at the fall 2018 Diversity Summit: Embracing Diversity and Inclusion at GW. The poster exhibited individual responses of both the Museum Education Program class of 2018 and faculty to diversity training and other DEAI-related curricular materials in their master's program.
