Dr. Margaret (“Meg”) Holland serves as Assistant Dean for Administration and Operations at the Graduate School of Education and Human Development (GSEHD) at the George Washington University. Meg’s portfolio includes the central coordination of the Dean’s office activities and the school’s academic outreach initiatives, to include communications, advancement, alumni relations, partnerships, events and budgeting, mission integration, and strategic planning. She also manages technology, space and facilities, and human resources, to include faculty administrative actions such as recruitment efforts, appointments, and contract renewals. In these efforts Meg engages with and serves as a primary resource for faculty, students, staff, administrators, and alumni at all levels throughout the School and the University, as well as with stakeholders in the DC, local, national, and international education community.

Prior to joining GSEHD, Meg served in various roles at Princeton University, where her portfolio included oversight of programs and initiatives related to alumni continuing education, community service, customer service and quality improvement, and management development training; she also managed the office of the Dean and Vice Dean of SEAS. Meg is a veteran of the U.S. Army. She holds a doctorate in higher education administration from GSEHD and her research interests lie in gender dynamics in higher education spaces.
