GSEHD alumnus Dr. Brandon Wolfe (EdD in Education Administration and Policy Studies) has been named a Virginia Principal of Distinction by the Virginia Department of Education, a recognition honoring exceptional school leaders who demonstrate excellence in leadership, instructional practice, and school culture.
Selected by the Virginia Principals of Distinction Selection Committee, Dr. Wolfe was recognized for his commitment to advancing student achievement and fostering high-quality learning environments. As part of the program, participants completed a six-month professional learning experience that included a leadership symposium and a capstone project designed to strengthen their impact on schools and communities.
Dr. Wolfe currently serves as an executive principal with Loudoun County Public Schools, where he provides leadership to support student success and organizational excellence. In addition to his work in K–12 education, he has been a member of the GSEHD instructional faculty since 2017, helping prepare aspiring school leaders for careers in educational administration.
His selection as a Virginia Principal of Distinction highlights both his contributions to public education and his dedication to developing effective, student-centered schools. The recognition also reflects the impact of GSEHD alumni who continue to lead and innovate across the education profession.
