Dean Michael Feuer, Dr. Colin Green and Sevinj Mammadova welcomed 25 students at the official opening of the Master of Arts in Education and Human Development program at Azerbaijan State Pedagogical University (ASPU). Dr. Jafar Jafarov, Rector of ASPU; Dr. Emin Amrullayev, Minister of Education; Mr. Lee Litzenberger, U.S. Ambassador; and Mr. Elin Suleymanov, Azerbaijan Ambassador, also joined the event.
The dual degree program will serve graduate students in Azerbaijan who are planning to enter education leadership roles in organizations such as the Ministry of Education, community-based organizations, or schools. Cohort 1 has participated in a week long intensive academic training, and they will start their academic journey starting October 5th.
