New Student Orientation
Attention Newly Admitted and Committed Students:
The George Washington University requires all in-person students to be in compliance with the Campus Public Health Measures as outlined on the GW Coronavirus site prior to being eligible to register for coursework. The document review process is a manual process and it may take up to one week for your record to be updated.
Fall 2023 Orientation
Welcome to the Graduate School of Education and Human Development (GSEHD)! We hope you’ll take advantage of the opportunities below to connect with the GW, GSEHD, and larger DC communities. We encourage you to review the New Student Guide as you prepare for your first semester. We are thrilled to have you join the Graduate School of Education and Human Development and look forward to supporting you as you work towards your academic and professional goals.
| Virtual Orientation Modules |
The Office of Student Life will enroll all new students in an asynchronous Blackboard orientation. Students will be added to the Blackboard site beginning Wednesday, July 5, 2023. Please note, this process is not automatic and it could take a few days for you to see the GSEHD New Student Orientation site in Blackboard.
This series of modules will walk you through key steps to take before you begin your program as well as resources and departments that will be available to support you during your academic career at GSEHD.
