Dr. Sevinj Mammadova, former Assistant Dean for Global Initiatives at GSEHD, has been promoted to Associate Provost for Global Academic Partnerships at GW, effective immediately.
Dr. Mammadova has been instrumental in advancing GSEHD's international partnerships and extending our global impact. Through her dedication and hard work, she has established strong relationships with institutions in Azerbaijan and beyond, advancing partnerships that include dual degree programs, executive leadership education, and professional development workshops.
In her new role in the Provost's Office, she will have the opportunity to build on this work at a university-wide scale. She will collaborate with schools across GW to develop new global academic partnerships and bring GW's expertise to communities around the world.
While taking on new responsibilities, Dr. Mammadova will continue to serve as Program Director for GSEHD's partnership with Azerbaijan State Pedagogical University, as well as foster additional opportunities for GSEHD.
We are proud of her many contributions to GSEHD and grateful for all she has done, and will continue to do, to advance GSEHD's global engagement.
