Students and alumni from GSEHD's Museum Education Program (MEP), along with MEP faculty, advocated for museums on Capitol Hill as part of Museums Advocacy Day on February 25, 2025. Every year, all students in GSEHD's Museum Education Program participate in this leadership and advocacy day.

For more than 15 years, Museums Advocacy Day has been providing the essential training and support advocates need to meet effectively with members of Congress and their staff. Museums Advocacy Day is an opportunity for our students to unite with museum colleagues and supporters from across the country as one voice to reaffirm the essential value, collective contributions, and aspirations of museums while making the critical case for museums directly to Congress.
