GSEHD master's student Jacqueline Hatch (International Education) spoke at the United Nations Office at Geneva (UNOG) on a panel for the 17th session of the Forum on Minority Issues. The theme of this year's forum was the representation and self-representation of minorities in public spaces and discourses. Ms. Hatch gave an eloquent seven-minute speech which was broadcast on UN TV (her remarks start at 3:30 in the recording).
Ms. Hatch serves as the Co-Director of the Refugee Education Advancement Lab (REAL) and was a 2024 GW UNESCO Fellow. GSEHD and GW are proud to have had her represent us as the first intern/fellow to serve on an expert panel in UNOG history.
