Congratulations to Dr. Shaista Khilji on being selected for the 2025 Morton A. Bender Teaching Award for her extraordinary dedication to teaching.
Dr. Khilji serves as the Department Chair for Human and Organizational Learning within the George Washington University Graduate School of Education and Human Development. She is also a professor in the department where she teaches graduate level courses on Leadership, Change, and Diversity & Inclusion, as well as courses in International Affairs.
The Bender Teaching Awards recognize excellent teaching of undergraduate, graduate, and professional courses at GW by faculty members with at least two consecutive years of teaching at GW. The Bender Award winners are nominated by a department chair, faculty or students, endorsed by the department, and then voted upon by committee.
Dr. Khilji will be recognized at the Annual Faculty Honors Ceremony on Thursday, April 24 at 4:00 pm in the Jack Morton Auditorium.
