The George Washington University Graduate School of Education & Human Development (GSEHD) is offering a Federal Service Scholarship to support current U.S. federal professionals and those impacted by the 2025 federal workforce reductions.
Eligible students admitted to select programs will receive a scholarship covering 20% of tuition. This initiative reflects GSEHD’s commitment to supporting career transitions and equipping professionals with the skills needed for long-term success in education and human development.
Eligible programs include the following, limited to on-campus course delivery only*:
- Curriculum & Instruction (Master's)
- Education Policy Studies (Master's)
- Elementary Education (Master's)
- Higher Education Administration (Master's)
- Individualized Program (Master's)
- International Education (Master's)
- Organizational Leadership & Learning (Master's)
- Rehabilitation Counseling (Master's)
- Higher Education Administration (Doctorate)
- Human & Organizational Learning (Doctorate) (*Hybrid Executive Program)
- Special Education (Doctorate)
Qualified applicants must complete an admissions application for fall 2025 enrollment by June 1, 2025, including proof of federal civil service employment or affected status (uploaded as part of the required resume). Limitations may apply.
