GSEHD doctoral candidate Ina Gjikondi (Human and Organizational Learning) has been selected as a 2023 MSR Fetzer Scholar and scholarship recipient.

Per their website, Fetzer Institute is a private foundation created by John E. Fetzer in 1962 with a vision of a transformed world, powered by love, in which all people can flourish. Their mission is “To help build the spiritual foundation for a loving world.” One of their strategic initiatives is to partner with higher education organizations that are in alignment with this vision and mission. The Management, Spirituality and Religion (MSR) Interest Group at the Academy of Management is a higher education professional association that is very much in alignment with this vision.

MSR Fetzer Scholars intentionally carry on this vision in their work and contribute to a community of others. Ms. Gjikondi is keen on bringing forth this mission through her personal and professional interests in human consciousness transformation, conscious leadership development and organizational transformation, and transformative teaching through integrating innovative, whole-being pedagogies.

This lifelong passion has brought her to the place of deep reflective inquiry (through her current dissertation work which is focused on direct knowing in the context of leadership coach education) and transformative leadership (through the use of whole-person pedagogies in her professional work at the George Washington University Center for Excellence in Public Leadership).
