Congratulations to GSEHD recipients of GW’s 10th Annual Faculty Awards!
Dr. Arshad Ali, Associate Professor of Educational Research, received the OVPR Research Mentorship Award, which honors the faculty member who has had a significant impact on the academic and professional development of students and trainees in the areas of research and scholarship. Dr. Ali teaches courses within GSEHD's PhD in Education, Education and Inequality Concentration and PhD in Education, Comparative and International Education Concentration.
GSEHD student Angel Jones (Ph.D., Education) received the Philip J. Amsterdam Graduate Teaching Award, which honors individuals who have made an outstanding contribution to GW teaching and recognizes the important contribution our graduate students make to the educational process. Angel teaches within GSEHD's Higher Education Administration program.
