Alumnus Steve Foerster Interviewed by International Professors Project

GSEHD alumnus Steve Foerster (master's, Educational Technology Leadership) was interviewed by Peter Ruben, COO of the International Professors Project. Foerster, writer, technologist, educator, and President of New World University, shares insights into their distance learning and partner organization programs to reach students around the world, as well as his thoughts on higher education.

The interview covers Foerster's background in higher education, where he thinks higher ed is headed with the advances in technology, current challenges in the field, how the higher ed format will change through the current pandemic, and more.

Foerster touches on his thoughts on higher ed including, "[...] since higher education has an “ivory tower” reputation for being slow to change, we should also be open to learning about different ways of doing things, because there are a number of interesting trends out there."
