Despite the increasing recurrence of attacks on Jewish students on college campuses, antisemitism has not received the mainstream coverage it deserves. These incidents should be condemned as fervently as other acts of oppression against marginalized and minoritized students. Although greatly needed, most diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) initiatives do not address antisemitism.
So what exactly is antisemitism? How should students, faculty, and school administrators respond when faced with it, and what can we do to stop it? Experts from Hillel International and the Anti Defamation League tackled the issue of antisemitism on college campuses.
This event was sponsored by GSEHD's Mayberg Center for Jewish Education and Leadership and the Master's programs in Experiential Jewish Education and Israel Education, in partnership with the Anti-Defamation League, Hillel International, and GW Hillel.
