First things first: Get started with Handshake
Access your jumping-off point for career support and gain access to:
- a robust job and internship board
- events, including employer information sessions, career services workshops, networking opportunities, career fairs, and more
- resources for your career development needs, including interview preparation, resume support, and job search tips
Note: New students are not given access to Handshake by the University until a few weeks before their first semester as an enrolled student begins. Any questions regarding access to Handshake can be directed to gsehdcareer@gwu.edu or handshakehelp@gwu.edu. If you are an alumnus/a and do not already have a Handshake Account, please complete this form to request an account.
Schedule a Career Coaching Appointment
Current GSEHD students and alumni can schedule an appointment with a GSEHD Student Success Coach through Handshake. Coaches are available to coach you to professional success, regardless of where you are in your career.
