Dr. Maurice Smith, GSEHD Alumnus, Publishes Children's Book

GSEHD alumnus Dr. Maurice Smith (Ed.D., Educational Administration and Leadership) has published a children's book entitled Uncle Charles and Me!. Dr. Smith is an Assistant Principal at Prince Edward Middle School in Farmville, VA.

With degrees in education, leadership, and sports management, Dr. Smith has been a teacher, professor, scout master, soccer coach from youth level to Division I, and has devoted his life to children. As founder of "Young Gentlemen for Life," an after school mentoring program, he is passionate about the positive development of youth. Dr. Linda Lemasters was his GSEHD advisor.
