Alumna Dr. Emily Dillard Named to Alexandria's 2025 "40 People Under 40" Making a Difference

Alumna Dr. Emily Dillard (Ed.D., Educational Leadership) has been listed as one of the 40 people under the age of 40 in 2025 who have made a difference in Alexandria by the Alexandria Chamber of Commerce. Dr. Dillard is an accomplished PreK–12 technology leader with over nine years of administrative experience driving innovation in education. She currently serves as Director of Instructional Technology for Alexandria City Public Schools, leading major initiatives such as the AI integration strategy and Canvas LMS adoption. A Certified Educational Technology Leader, Dr. Dillard also serves on the CoSN AI Committee and the City of Alexandria’s Commission on Information Technology. In addition, Dr. Dillard teaches in GSEHD's Educational Leadership program. Her work centers on engagement and transformative digital learning.
