GSEHD Alumnus, Ranjit Sidhu, Appointed Executive Director and CEO of ASCD

GSEHD alumnus Ranjit Sidhu (master's, Education) has been appointed the new Executive Director and CEO of ASCD, a mission-driven nonprofit association dedicated to empowering educators to achieve excellence in learning, teaching, and leading, effective January 1, 2020. Mr. Ranjit moves to ASCD from the National Council for Community and Education Partnerships (NCCEP), where he has served as President and CEO since 2015. Prior to joining NCCEP, he held senior vice president positions at both the College Board and ACT. He started a career as a high school social studies teacher in the Washington, D.C. and Prince George's County, Maryland, public school districts
