GSEHD alumnus Dr. Evan Crump (Ed.D., Curriculum & Pedagogy) has been appointed Full Professor in the English Department at Montgomery College (MC). Dr. Crump previously served MC as a Learning Specialist in the TRIO program and has held faculty roles across several institutions, including the University of Oklahoma, Howard Community College’s Project Access program, the George Washington University, and Bowie State University.
Beyond his academic contributions, Dr. Crump is a prominent theatre practitioner in the DMV region, with more than 70 professional credits as an actor, director, playwright, and producer. His production company, Unstrung Harpist Productions, has earned multiple awards for its innovative work. His scholarly research explores poststructuralist philosophy to reimagine theatrical and educational conventions, and he has presented his work at AERA and other leading academic conferences.
