GSEHD Ranked Among Top 30 Graduate Schools of Education, 10th Among Private InstitutionsUS News 09
U.S. News and World Report has once again ranked GW's Graduate School of Education and Human Development (GSEHD) among the top 30 graduate schools of education in the United States.

GSEHD is ranked 10th among private schools and 29th overall. The School’s Rehabilitation Counseling program is ranked 6th, and Education Policy is ranked 19th. In the category of research dollars per faculty member, GSEHD ranked 11th.

The U.S. News rankings are based on indicators determined by the magazine. These include self-reported data on mean entrance examination scores, student-faculty ratios, doctoral acceptance rates, doctoral student to faculty ratio, dollar amount of annual research funding, average amount of research dollars spent per faculty member and total enrollment.
