Dr. Shaunna Gold
Dr. Robert Brescia
Doctoral Student Jared Robert
Dr. Shaunna Gold's study focused on the spiritual development of nonheterosexual undergraduate students. Gold says:

"Although I am merely an outsider to the LGBT community, I had several experiences that spurred my interested in the topic. During my years as resident director, a lesbian student began to share her childhood experiences as an active member of an African American church. The student reminisced fondly about her religious experiences yet wondered how her spirituality should be impacted, if at all, by her emerging nonheterosexual orientation."

Dr. Robert Brescia received an EdD in Human Resource Development. His dissertation work was an in-depth analysis of the much-publicized Chicago Seven Trial.

"During the course of my research I discovered what I refer to as the 'ten lost reels of 1968' - ten audio tape reels of never-before-published interviews with Abbie Hoffman, Bobby Seale, Allen Ginsburg and others."
