This graduate certificate program provides students with an in-depth understanding of organizations as human systems, the skills necessary to assess organizational performance, and the practical knowledge required to improve organizational effectiveness through leadership and learning. This program enables students to acquire skills in the areas of instructional design, group processes, adult learning, organizational diagnosis and consulting strategies, depending upon the needs and interests of the student.
Designed for working professionals, program participants apply new skills in real world settings as well as in the classroom. This certificate provides students with a realistic preview of the master's degree program in Human Resource Development. Graduates may apply for advanced standing in the Human Resource Development Master's degree program. If accepted, all 18 credits will apply toward the 36-credit Master's degree program.
