
This option provides the opportunity to develop an individualized curriculum that spans existing fields, both within the Graduate School of Education and Human Development and between the School and other schools and departments of the University and the consortium.
The program is designed to meet specific career and professional objectives of applicants who have unique needs. The flexible program structure can be tailored to prepare for new and emerging fields in education and human development.
The individualized program must contains research methods, courses in human development, social/historical/philosophical foundations in education, and curriculum. A minimum of 6 credit hours of fieldwork, or the equivalent, must be a part of the program.

Sample coursework:
Developed alongside appropriate/assigned faculty advisor, coursework may be taken within or across the five departments of the Graduate School of Education and Human Development.
