No matter your industry or background, a Master's Degree in Human Resource Development at GW will broaden your perspective and change your future! The HRD program is designed to improve the competencies and skills of HR practitioners, managers, and professionals in HRD and related fields. Our curriculum will enhance your ability to assess, develop, and implement organizational intervention strategies. What students learn in the classroom at night, they can apply in the workplace the next day.
The master's curriculum consists of eight core courses that provide a solid foundation in individual, group and organizational learning, leadership, and organizational development and change. Learners then use their remaining four electives to customize their Master's degree around a specific area of interest.
The program is self-paced and students may choose to attend full-time (9-12 credits per semester) or part-time (3-6 credits per semester). The majority of our students are employed full-time and complete six credits (two courses) per semester. Classes meet on weekday evenings. Students may begin their programs during any semester.
