The graduate certificate in Training and Educational Technology provides leaders from varied professional backgrounds, including the public and private sector, with the foundational knowledge and skills required to effectively lead organizations in the application of technologies in their learning activities. From conducting a needs analysis to applying the systematic design of instruction to evaluating the role of technology in leadership development and the assessment of distance education (or e-learning) opportunities, the program prepares students to apply the theories and tools of instructional technology and distance education in diverse organizational settings. Graduates will demonstrate the capacity to successfully lead the integration of technology into organizational learning activities.
