Mission and Program Outcomes

The goal of the graduate certificate in counseling culturally and linguistically diverse persons is to expand counselors, teachers, and other professionals’ understanding of cultural and linguistic diversity within the workplace, school, and community settings, and, in the process, enhance their understanding of their own psychosocial identity.

Mission and Program Outcomes

The goal of the graduate certificate in counseling culturally and linguistically diverse persons is to expand counselors, teachers, and other professionals’ understanding of cultural and linguistic diversity within the workplace, school, and community settings, and, in the process, enhance their understanding of their own psychosocial identity. This post-master's program is designed to build upon the training received in the 48-credit master's program and to enhance the knowledge and skills necessary to work with a diverse population.
