Educational Leadership Administration

Education Specialist

Description

As we enter into a new era of change and reform, opportunities for educators seeking leadership positions will be in high demand. A growing shortage of school-based professionals prepared to move into leadership positions in schools and school districts has led to increased opportunities for those with graduate and advanced degrees in educational leadership. To keep abreast of this expanding field, educators from across the US and international community are enhancing their credentials in preparation for their future leadership roles.

Since 1904, The George Washington University's Graduate School of Education and Human Development (GSEHD) has been recognized as a premiere research institution providing our students with the knowledge, skills, and resources necessary to promote quality student achievement. Graduates of the Educational Leadership and Administration programs at The George Washington University will be ready to meet today's challenges of school reform, growing school enrollments, and increasing retirements as our programs of study are designed to develop intellectual leaders who understand curriculum and instruction, motivate and support classroom professionals, and provide practical ideas necessary to lead vibrant educational communities.
