Clinical Mental Health Counseling
The Clinical Mental Health Counseling program is dedicated to the preparation of students to become knowledgeable and ethical counseling professionals for employment in a variety of health and human services settings. We endorse an integrated approach to counseling research and practice. We contribute to human development, adjustment and change by encouraging our diverse faculty and student body to engage in reflective practice, innovative inquiry and responsible social action.
The program in clinical mental health counseling is designed to prepare students to function as professional counselors in a variety of human service agencies, mental health agencies, and employee assistance programs.
